San Joaquin General Hospital's Family Medicine Clerkship Program offers students seeking an elective rotation to experience the full scope of family medicine in a underserved community hospital setting.  As a visiting medical student, you will be exposed to all aspects of family medicine, from procedures (circumcisions, skin procedures, paracentesis), pre-natal care, in-patient and out-patient care, sports medicine, to skilled nursing home visits.  Our residency is hands-on, fostering growth of medical knowledge through direct patient care experiences.  If you would like to rotate with us, please send an email to our program coordinator, Anna Hernandez @ ahernandez@sjgh.org.  

We currently are a core rotation site for Touro University, St. George's University, California Northstate University College of Medicine, University of the Pacific's PA program.
